Hello there! I'm a passionate industrial engineer, recently obtained my Ph.D. in Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering, specializing in Human Factors and Ergonomics at The Pennsylvania State University. Actively seeking roles in User/Design Research, Product Design, and Quality Assurance, I bring a diverse educational background, including a Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from PES University in Bengaluru, India.
Throughout my career, I've collaborated with industry leaders such as Stryker and Loreal, focusing on optimizing product usability, conducting packaging validation testing, and fostering strategic supplier relationships. In roles as an associate project engineer at Stryker Medical Devices and a packaging engineer at Loreal USA and Health Concepts LLC, I managed complex projects, ensured adherence to quality standards, and streamlined processes to enhance product performance. My involvement in coordinating BUILD Nights at The Learning Factory also showcased my project management skills, successfully managing research initiatives, workshops, and courses.
I aim to bridge the gap between user needs and design teams' visions, aspiring to create products that offer exceptional user experiences. Employing mixed-methods research, I design human-subject studies, conduct usability studies, and apply qualitative and statistical data analysis. I am drawn to roles that allow me to apply interdisciplinary knowledge to foster collaboration, drive efficiency, and deliver measurable outcomes, with a keen interest in optimizing product usability and streamlining packaging processes.
Beyond professional pursuits, I enjoy recreating my mother's recipes, tending to plants, and engaging in sketching and painting. Continuously striving to weave these passions into my work, I'm an avid explorer of all things creative.
