Aabahon

In my role as the Decorations and Logistics Coordinator for Aabahon, a non-profit organization based in State College, Pennsylvania, I was deeply involved in promoting India's vibrant cultural heritage and facilitating cross-cultural exchanges through diverse events. These included Durga Pujo, Saraswati Pujo, Nobo Borsho, Rabindra Jayanti, Holi, Mahalaya, fresher's welcome, cultural event nights, and picnics. My responsibilities extended beyond stage decoration and idol set-up, especially during Durga Pujo, to logo design, newsletters, event planning, and website design.

One of my most memorable initiatives was when a new Durga idol, being shipped from India, encountered paperwork-related challenges. I took the lead in liaising with port services, shipping companies, and all associated parties to ensure the safe and timely arrival of the idol to State College, PA. This experience not only tested my problem-solving skills but also underscored my commitment to enriching our community's cultural experiences.

I also took the initiative of creating the website for this organization for fundraising and to document events, donors, and honorable mentions
